Casa Caldas, a villa near Monchique village is a true oasis. A perfect 2 storey, holiday villa if you are looking for rest, peace and be surrounded by nature!

Located near the fairytale village of Caldas de Monchique, the villa is a luxury 7-bedroom, all en-suite, set in 5 hectares (12 acres) of private hilly woodland, in the mountain area of Monchique Algarve, but only a short drive away from Portimao. Various terraces, beautiful gardens, super views give you the feeling of being landed in an oasis of rest and peace. The unique saltwater swimming pool really has to be seen to be fully appreciated.

This private holiday Casa Caldas was built in 2005. It is located in a beautiful and very private area with private gardens and a private pool.

Entering through the front door and hall you enter the spacious, stylishly designed living/ dining room with several sitting areas and a fireplace. The adjoining kitchen is fitted with all modern conveniences, including a Nespresso coffee machine.

On the ground floor, there are 4 bedrooms with two comfortable single beds. Each bedroom has a private bathroom, two of them with a shower, two of them with shower/ bath.

On the first floor, you will find 3 bedrooms with two comfortable single beds and private bathroom, one with a bath, and two with a shower. One of the bedrooms has direct access to a covered terrace. On the first floor, you will also find a second living room with a kitchenette fitted with all modern conveniences. Through folding doors, you can reach a large sun terrace.

Holiday villa Casa Caldas offers wireless internet, 2 satellite TVs, video, DVD player, radio, CD player, underfloor heating (optional) and cot’s (on request). A pantry with a washing machine, dryer and ironing facilities is situated next to the terraces.

Exterior

Casa Caldas is situated on a large private country estate covered with olive- and pine trees, cork oaks and citrus trees. The villa has its own driveway and is surrounded by wonderful gardens filled with native plants. The villa offers various sun- and shadow terraces all around the house and private pool, with comfortable chaise longues and seats.

The main terrace has a thatched sunroof and is furnished with two large dining tables and a barbecue. The perfect place for breakfast in the morning sun or “al fresco dining”. It offers a wonderful view of the green hills. In season you can pick your own citrus fruits and bouquets.

The luxurious, unique private swimming pool  (5 x 10 meter) has a saltwater system and is filled with water from its own source. The pool is surrounded by ponds with fish, frogs and water plants. There amidst the green, you will imagine yourself to be miles away from the city buzz, only surrounded by the sound of water, birds and frogs. An outdoor shower is available.
